The Kathryn Coleman Scholarship

Overview

The Kathryn Coleman Scholarship is a donor-designated scholarship established as part of the educational endowments at Greenspring, an Erickson Senior Living-managed community in Springfield, Va. Since 1999, as part of a community-wide effort called the Scholars’ Fund, Greenspring community members have raised over $5.5 million for their student employees to help ease the large financial commitment associated with obtaining a college degree. The scholarship provides financial support to student employees who have demonstrated dedicated service to the resident community while pursuing their higher education goals.
