Army Emergency Relief (AER) is the official non-profit organization of the U.S. Army, providing financial assistance to Soldiers and their families since 1942. The organization offers several scholarship programs, primarily the Mrs. Patty Shinseki Spouse Scholarship Program and the MG James Ursano Scholarship Program for dependent children.
