Tuition Incentive Program (TIP)

Overview

The Tuition Incentive Program (TIP) is a high school completion program that encourages students to complete high school by providing tuition assistance that helps pay for college. The program is designed to assist students who have a TIP record and have filed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to access state financial aid through the MiSSG Student Portal. It was established as part of Michigan's student aid initiatives to support students in their transition from high school to postsecondary education.
