The Cancer for College Perpetual Scholarship was established in 1993 by two-time cancer survivor Craig Pollard to provide hope and inspiration to those whose lives have been impacted by cancer. The scholarship was created to assist cancer survivors in achieving their educational goals by helping to alleviate the heavy financial burden associated with a cancer diagnosis. As the foundation's premier award, it serves as a tribute to the resilience of survivors and seeks to empower them as they transition from patients to students and professionals.
