The BISON Children's Scholarship Fund

Overview

The Children's Scholarship Fund (CSF) provides partial tuition scholarships for low-income families to send their children to tuition-based schools (private, parochial, or charter schools). CSF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that believes a quality education should not be determined by zip code or income. Since its inception, CSF has awarded more than $1 billion in scholarships to more than 200,000 children. Founded in 1998 by Ted Forstmann and John Walton, the Children's Scholarship Fund was created to give low-income parents the power to choose the school they believe is best for their children.
