Clarkston Area Optimist Club Scholarship

Overview

The Clarkston Area Optimist Club establishes scholarships to support high school graduates within the community as they pursue further education in college or trade programs. The program awards four specific honors including The Andrea Schroeder Scholarship for the Fine Arts, The Henry Richardson Friend of Youth Scholarship, The James A. Evans Scholarship, and the Making Your Optimism Come True Scholarship. These awards were created to recognize students who demonstrate the principles of the Optimist Creed and show significant involvement in youth-focused volunteering and extracurricular activities.
