Watson Scholarship

Overview

The Watson Scholarship, often used interchangeably with the Watson A. Young Scholarship, provides financial support for students pursuing a University of Michigan summer pre-college experience. It was established to ensure that financial barriers do not prevent talented students from experiencing the academic environment at U-M, allowing them to work in world-class facilities with distinguished faculty. The scholarship helps students better prepare for college and gain a better understanding of their interests and potential by removing economic obstacles to higher education outreach.
