Troy Loos Memorial Scholarship

Overview

Troy Loos’s faith was profound and embedded in his daily routine and interactions. Troy treasured the time he spent with family and friends. He was caring, calm, and compassionate, and all those who met him left as a friend and as a better person. Troy had a passion for coaching and attending all the activities of his family. He had the ability to fix anything; there weren’t “problems” rather ways to make things better. He loved to solve problems and worked through challenges with a willful determination. He treated math as a hobby and found great joy in solving mathematical equations. He was an engineer, dedicating his life to designing, creating and troubleshooting; but most importantly he loved God and wrapped his family in a cloak of love and strength. Catholic Central High School reminded Troy of his high school where he had amazing memories. The size, family-like atmosphere, the opportunity to make friends with all grades, and to be involved in so many areas were significant remembrances of his high school years.
