AAA Postdoctoral Fellowship

Overview

The American Anthropological Association (AAA) established this fellowship to support early-career scholars and promote research in the field of anthropology. The AAA Postdoctoral Fellowship is awarded to scholars who have recently completed their PhD in anthropology or a related field. While primarily for postdoctoral researchers, high school students with exceptional projects in anthropology may be considered for special recognition awards.
