Overview
Bill Hite is a 1960 graduate of St. Leo’s High School and Purdue University who credits his success to the discipline, work ethic, and values gained during his high school years. He established this scholarship at Brother Rice in 2014 to show appreciation for his education, which helped him represent the interests of the United Association of Plumbers, Pipefitters, Sprinkler Fitters, Pipe Liners, Welders, and HVAC Workers. The scholarship is intended to recognize students who are working to their full potential and provide opportunity for sons of union construction workers affiliated with any of the building trades, often making the difference in their ability to attend the school.
