Alzheimer’s Foundation of America Teens for Alzheimer’s Awareness College Scholarship

Overview

This scholarship provides an excellent opportunity for college-bound students to give thoughtful consideration to the impact Alzheimer’s disease has on their own lives and others in their family and community. It was established by the Alzheimer's Foundation of America to encourage students to reflect on how the disease has changed or impacted their lives and what they have learned about themselves, their family, and their community while coping with Alzheimer’s. The application process requires an autobiography and an essay response to specific prompts about the student's personal experiences with the disease.
