Metro Detroit Youth Day Scholarship

Overview

The Metro Detroit Youth Day Scholarship was established to recognize students in the Detroit Metropolitan area who have maintained good academic standing and who have overcome personal challenges to graduate from high school and continue to an institution of higher learning. Founded by Edward Deeb, Chairman of the Michigan Youth Appreciation Foundation, the scholarship program is supported by the foundation along with various participating businesses and foundations. The program aims to honor students who have shown resilience and commitment to their education despite facing significant life hurdles.
