Buzby, Ethel M.

Overview

The Ethel M. Buzby Scholarship was established in 1975 through a bequest from Ethel M. Buzby, a 1915 AB graduate who deeply cherished her years at the University of Michigan. Originally from Woodstown, New Jersey, Ms. Buzby arrived in Ann Arbor in 1911 and was highly active on campus, playing on the Women’s basketball team and acting in several productions of the University’s Comedy Club. This scholarship was created to provide financial assistance to out-of-state undergraduate women following in her footsteps at Michigan.
