Professorial Assistantship

Overview

The Professorial Assistantship is offered to a select number of high-achieving first-year students invited to the Honors College at Michigan State University. It was established to allow these students to engage in faculty-mentored research or scholarly activity during their first two years on campus. The program aims to integrate elite students into the research culture of the university early in their academic careers by providing a stipend in exchange for research work.
