The A. Gordon Adams, Jr. Alumni Distinguished Scholar Award is presented to a student who participates in the Michigan State University Alumni Distinguished Scholarship competition. This award is part of a suite of scholarships for high-achieving incoming first-year students that recognize outstanding intellectual performance. Recipients are selected from the pool of candidates invited to compete in the examination based on their exceptional academic records.
