Overview
The Margaret "Tat" Heintz Scholarship Fund was established by Tat's three daughters, Catherine (Heintz) Siefker, Barbara (Heintz) Heisler, and Margaret (Heintz) Sponseller, as a way of saying thank you for their Catholic education and as a memorial to their mother's commitment to her girls' Catholic education. Mrs. Heintz, a widow, struggled to make it possible for her daughters to graduate from Sacred Heart Academy. This fund is also a way for them to help others receive a Catholic education. It was founded to recognize Tat's extensive contributions to the SHA Foundation, where she served as a Trustee for nearly 40 years and as President for 19 years.
