The Blonde Scholarship

Overview

This Blonde Scholarship was established in 2013 by local hair stylist Shannon Blonde, who wanted to give back to her community and support students pursuing their educational goals. The fund was created in thanksgiving for the caring and supportive members of the Imlay City community where the Blondes were raised, graduated from public schools, and were given many opportunities to serve through work and volunteerism. Richard and Patricia Blonde established this lasting legacy in their family’s name to benefit generations of graduates from their hometown, believing that a college education can change the course of a person’s life.
